AHIP has demonstrated that vulnerable populations can obtain and retain stable housing, with over 90% of tenants remaining housed after one year.

In just one year, we have helped light a path to housing stability for more than 110 individuals on the Seacoast.

In partnership with 17 shelter and referral agencies we moved over 110 individuals out of homelessness and into permanent housing on the Seacoast.

We partnered with 8 New Hampshire landlords to enroll 57 units of affordable housing into the program.

We provided financial support to 8 agency partners to provide housing stability case management to AHIP tenants.

What is the impact of adding 57 affordable housing unit to the Seacoast rental market?

Opened up more than 65 emergency shelter beds on the Seacoast.

Moved 5 individuals/families out of places not meant for habituation.

Diverted more than 40 individuals/families out of unstable housing situations (e.g., couch surfing) that put them at risk of becoming homeless or unsheltered.

Our landlord incentives provided support to…

Make necessary repairs and renovations in 37 rental units to create safe, sanitary, and dignified living environments that meet HUD’s Housing Quality Standards required for units enrolled in the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Without access to funding to make repairs, these 37 units would not be eligible to house tenants with Housing Choice Vouchers or other forms of federally subsidized rental assistance.
