Our Seacoast Pop-Up Care Villages (PUCV) meet the immediate needs of unhoused and housing-insecure individuals while opening pathways to long-term stability. Inspired by the farmers market model, these mobile service hubs rotate quarterly across Rockingham, Strafford, and Southern York Counties, expanding access to essential resources. Each Village brings together basic needs, healthcare, housing navigation, and other critical services in one welcoming, low-barrier location.
By meeting people where they are, PUCVs foster trust, reduce access barriers, and strengthen the safety net, while gathering data to inform system-level solutions. Reaching those often overlooked by traditional service models, these events serve as vital entry points that connect individuals to stability and support.
Just as importantly, they create collective impact by bringing partner agencies together in one shared space, strengthening cross-sector relationships, building new collaborations, and fostering a culture of coordinated care that amplifies outcomes for both individuals and the wider community.

Village FAQ’s
-
A Pop Up Care Village is a community resource event that brings together dozens of service providers in one convenient location to help people access the support they need to stay healthy, stable, and housed.
Depending on the event, attendees may find:
• Housing and homelessness assistance
• Healthcare and behavioral health services
• Food and nutrition resources
• Showers and laundry services
• Employment and benefits support
• Legal assistance
• Veterinary services
• Community organizations ready to help
At their core, Pop Up Care Villages are rooted in the principle of radical hospitality: the belief that every person deserves to be welcomed, treated with dignity, and valued as a member of the community, regardless of their housing status, income, health challenges, or life circumstances.
-
Accessing help is not always easy. Navigating multiple agencies, transportation challenges, waitlists, limited office hours, and complex systems can create barriers for people seeking support.
Pop Up Care Villages bring services directly into the community, making it easier for people to connect with multiple providers in one place, ask questions, learn about available resources, and build relationships with organizations that can help.
By bringing partners together under one roof, we can reduce barriers, strengthen collaboration, and help ensure people get connected to the support they need before a crisis deepens.
-
No. Pop Up Care Villages are open to anyone seeking resources, services, information, or support. While many attendees are experiencing homelessness or housing instability, being unsheltered is not a requirement to participate.
