Whether you are a business, a classroom, a civic organization, or faith community, you have an opportunity to play a valuable role in ending homelessness on the Seacoast.

Here are a few examples of how organizations can get involved:

• Invite a member of Home for All to come and help facilitate a discussion about homelessness and effective solutions

• Volunteer your collective or individual time at one of our area partner organizations.

• Sign up for action alerts to stay informed on emerging opportunities to advocate.

There is strength in numbers, and mobilizing your employees, colleagues, students and fellow parishioners around this important issue benefits the community in many ways.

Educators

• Consider integrating a curriculum in your classroom that focuses on homelessness and how young people can help.

• Host an educatonal forum or assembly on hunger and homelessness with the goal of decreasing stigma. Invite individuals who have experienced homelessness, counselors, and other knowledgeable guests to speak and share their experiences.

Businesses

• Consider strategies within your company to identify and assist those among you who may be experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

• Consider hosting an in-kind donation drive to support Home for All’s Welcome Home Kits.

• Leverage untapped resources or consider providing financial support to fund innovative solutions that promote housing stability and remove barriers to accessing affordable housing.
